Urgent volunteer help is needed in Birmingham.

For more details see the Birmingham Centre page.

Volunteers come to Thrive for many reasons, including a desire to gain further experience or skills, to 'give something back' to the community or to take a step towards employment.

We are always keen to recruit more so why not volunteer at Thrive? Most of our volunteer roles require a DBS check which we will organise.

Opportunities exist at all our centres.

Roles include:

Client Support Volunteer - London and Birmingham

Working at a garden project alongside a therapist, working directly with our clients.  For more information about the Client Support Volunteer role see the role description here.

Kiosk Volunteer - Battersea

Working from our small sales kiosk in our Main Garden in Battersea Park. Primarily this role involves providing customer service; selling and maintaining plants and merchandise working to promote Thrive and raise awareness. For more information about the role of Kiosk Volunteer see the job description here.

Volunteer Mini bus escort - Reading

Help wanted in assisting our minibus driver when collecting and returning Thrive gardeners before and after their working day.  This is not a driving role and involves supervising people getting in and out of the bus, and escorting them during the journey. More details here

Gardeners needed - Birmingham

Thrive Birmingham is fortunate to work in the former TV gardens (once used by Gardeners' World) – but we need your help to maintain them! Our office is based in the pavilion next to the Horticultural Training Centre in the park but the majority of our work takes place in the TV gardens. Contact the Birmingham team if you’re interested.
