Thrive provide a range of advice and guidance on how to garden for health and wellbeing. Our website Carry on gardening contains information to help people garden and overcome barriers to gardening. We also provide a range of useful resources for groups of people with specific needs. These resources can be found here.
At Trunkwell Gardens in Beech Hill, near Reading, we have created five small gardens, known as the Garden Gallery, for people with specific disabilities which show how green care can be put into practice. The gardens are small, each the size of a typical new build back garden, and focus on gardening solutions and creative ideas for those coping with particular challenges.
The Unexpected Gardener (Chelsea Gold Medal winner in 2010) was designed by Jo Thompson
